Overview
Pocket sized drum synthesizer. Like the PO-33 K.O! and PO-35 Speak, the PO-32 Tonic has limitless possibilties in the sounds that can be made. But unlike those other Pocket Operators which rely on sampling for their audio sources, the PO-32 achieves its versatility through drum synthesis and is able to connect to Sonic Charge's Microtonic drum VST (sold separately), where computer-edited drum programs can the be uploaded to the PO-32 speak. This data transfer from the computer to PO-32 is done with audio (it sounds like old school dial-up modems), using either a line in or holding he Pocket Operator up to a computer speaker. The results are a vast and impressive range of drum sounds that are fun to tweak and play, making the PO-32 Tonic perfectly suited as both an entertaining toy to pass the time or a tool for creating interesting sounds and sequences for professional productions.
