Vortex6

Tiptop Audio's VORTEX6 is a six-voice polyphonic wavetable oscillator, inspired by the design and sound of the PPG Wave 2.2, and features true 8-bit vintage audio converters from the '80s. The module includes dozens of internal wavetables, with user tables loadable via an SD card. VORTEX6 also features built-in vibrato, glide, and six wavetable-scrolling envelopes, all with CV. The ART-in jack and built-in voice manager handle incoming notes and distribute them to audio, gate, and velocity outputs, either through per-voice 3.5mm jacks or Polytip jacks.

When combined with OCTOPUS, OCTOSTAGES, OCTOPASS, OCTOGAIN, and Polytip patch cables, VORTEX6 forms a complete six-voice polyphonic modular synth. Alternatively, VORTEX6 can be patched to discrete mono modules or used for paraphonic soundscapes with up to 12 oscillators in detune mode via the voice mix-out.
